XXXI Championship Polish Firefighters In Volleyball

For the third time Legnica hosted the championship Polish firefighters volleyball. On April 9-11, eight best teams in the country battled for the podium and championship titles . As it turned out , in this year's tournament teams were very well aligned przygotowanei presenting a high level . This made it very difficult to talk about the strong faworytach and prejudge the results of subsequent meetings . No wonder that in the course of fierce competition lacked and aligned duels .
This was the first meeting of the grid representation of the provinces and Opole Podlasie . Although Opole, who a year ago won the title of second place , eventually won this game , but the end result had to work hard . Similarly, the heavy fighting for points and the final result of the defenders fought championship team Lodz region . Their first opponents, the team of the region of Lubusz proved to be very demanding.
After a first phase of the competition in the groups progressed to the semi-finals teams : CS PSP Czestochowa and the region of Silesia and teams from the province . Lower Silesian and Lubusz . Thus, at this stage , with the medal zone were eliminated existing champions and runners- Polish inhabitants of Lodz - Opole.
As a result of subsequent competitions Lower Silesians played with the representation of the province . Lubusz for third place in the tournament and won the match . The same team of Lower Silesia defended gained in the previous championship title of the third team in the country.
In contrast to the first and second place on the podium teams battled Silesia and Central School of PSP from Czestochowa . This match with a score of 3:1 in sets won Silesia and ultimately the team he won the cup and the Commander in Chief of the PSP title Polish firefighters volleyball.
This year's championship volleyball steady at a high level , not only in sports , but also organizational . Traditionally, the hosts , were equal to the task. Thank you for the effort , recognizing stressed that the deputy commander of the provincial capital city of Lower Silesia PSP Brig. George Łabowski . Commander of the city of Legnica PSP Brig. Adam Konieczny , not without satisfaction indicated that the smooth running of this major sporting event , it is largely the result of very good cooperation firefighters contracting with the city . President Legnica Tadeusz Krzakowski , who was both the ceremonial opening of the championship , as well as on ceremony cups, diplomas and awards in his speech assured that the support and kindness of the authorities, firefighters can expect in the future.
Last accent championship was held in a festive and solemn atmosphere. Present among others representatives SFS Brig. Jacek Borowski and Brig. Piotr Kalinowski handed over to the three winning teams impressive trophies and medals.
Great success for the team of the Central School of PSP is to get silver medals , and the additional distinction is that select officers CS PSP as the best quarterback of the tournament junior asp .
