Visit of the delegation of Liberia

On 29 July 2014, a meeting with a delegation from the Government of Liberia was held  at the Central School of the State Fire Service in Czestochowa.  Our guests were representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Liberia, namely: 

- Mrs Cllr. Wheatonia Y. Dixon Barnes - Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Liberia on Administration and Public Safety,

- Mr G. Warsuwah Barvoul - Director of the National Fire Service of Liberia

Delegation was headed by Director of International Cooperation at the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service – Major Tomasz Kołodziejczyk. 

The aim of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the organization and tasks of the State Fire Service.

Our guests listened attentively to the speech of the Deputy Commandant of the Central School - Robert Łazaj on the organization of education in the State Fire Service, tasks performed at the Central School, as well as training opportunities and teaching facilities. 

The guests were shown lecture rooms, along with lecture halls, laboratories and rooms for practical exercises, the School Rescue and Firefighting Unit and its equipment, as well as training ground stands for practical exercises.  

Our guests admitted that they were very impressed with both the organization of the State Fire Service in Poland, as well as the education and training system of rescuers.
