Training course for Ukrainian officers

On 21 - 23 August 2014 a training course for Ukrainian officers and classes for young people from the Ukrainian Khmelnytskyi Oblast were held at the Central School of the State Fire Service in Czestochowa. During the classes the organization of teams of young firefighters working within the structures of the Volunteer Fire Brigades in Poland was presented.

During the training, classes in laboratories and on a school training ground were conducted. Exercises in a flash-over and smoke chamber were particularly popular among the trainees. The participants also visited the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Czestochowa, where they were acquainted with the functioning of the Emergency Call Centre of the city.

The trainees highly evaluated the level of training and qualifications of lecturers. They expressed their desire to continue cooperation and participation in subsequent training sessions and workshops conducted by the Central School of the State Fire Service in Czestochowa.
