DELEGATION VISIT CENTRAL SCHOOL STATE UNIVERSITY In the Lviv SAFETY OF LIFE

On 19-21 January a delegation of the Central School of Fire Service in Częstochowa in persons: 

- St. Brig. dr. Marek Chmiel - Commander of the Central School of PSP

- Younger. Brig. MSc. Jaroslaw Jankowski - Head of the Central School of Pedagogical Improvement PSP

He was on the territory of Ukraine in Lviv State University of Life Safety in Ukraine.

 

   In this visit they were also attended by Commander of the Fire School in Krakow st. Brig. dr. Boguslaw Rooster and Head of Operational Training and International Cooperation PSP Krakow SA st. Cpt. Wojciech Dela.

 

   From the University took part in the talks: 

- Colonel Roman civil defense services Ratuszny - Vice-Rector of the Lviv State University of Life Safety. 

- Major civil defense services Świątkiewicz Alexander - Head of International Relations of the University,

- Lieutenant civil defense services Natalja Lazarenko - senior specialist in international cooperation of the University. 

   The purpose of the meeting was to start talks on the continuation of the exchange of cadets between CS PSP and PSP in Krakow SA and the University - to undergo internships as well as discuss the possibility of organizing in Ukraine international exercises in conducting rescue operations - firefighting. 

   In the exchange of cadets it found that this idea is correct and accepted form has proved its worth. During the internships to be completed cadets have contact with new issues, they learn about a different kind of equipment can become familiar with the culture and history of the host country. Therefore, this year it was decided to continue the trips groups of 5 students and tutor.

  In terms of the organization of exercises undertaken preliminary discussions and commitments, and established that the main purpose of the exercises is to exchange theoretical and practical experience in the identification of potential risks to humans, as well as to discuss issues related to security and practical testing of professional skills in emergency situations risks in conditions as close as possible to real. Exercise could be carried out in late May and June 2015. at the training ground in the town of Sycamore, province. Lviv using the equipment and resources the Central School of Fire Service in Częstochowa, School of Fire Service in Krakow, Podkarpackie region of Lviv State University of Life Safety and territorial departments of Ukraine to combat emergency situations. 

   Selecting the place of exercises town of Sycamore is so important that it is a place where potential flooding during the phenomenon of chemical compounds leaching from the soil (mainly sulfur) and there is a great danger of poisoning the river San which may be important also for the Polish. 

   Events that would be simulated during a rescue exercise chemical - ecological, fire extinguishing tactics, combat search and rescue, providing first aid, detection and removal of hazardous materials (munitions, unexploded bombs and unexploded ordnance). It should be noted that Poland would be responsible for chemical incident - ecological while others will be at the discretion of the Ukrainian side.
