On 25 th of February 2015 at the Central School of Fire Service in Częstochowa hosted a representative of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Mr. Dipl.-Eng. Thorsten Prein, lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne Faculty of Construction and Fire Protection, the head of the Bureau of Fire Protection and Deputy Commandant of the Regional Fire Service in Katowice.

The aim of this visit was to discuss possibilities for further cooperation between the State Fire Service Silesian Province, the Higher Vocational School in Cologne and the Professional Fire Service in Cologne. Our Guest met wih Central School Chief Sr Brig. Marek Chmiel, who presented him organization of education and training at the Central School of Fire Service in Częstochowa. Mr Prein visited Rescue Fire-Fighting Unit, 

school laboratories  and training ground, where he could observed the exercises three fire brigades from the school during an internal fire extinguishing action.

The result of this meeting is the participation in fire resistance tests in Schmiedeberg  from 3rd of March to 3rd of June 2015 delegation from the Central School of Fire Service in Częstochowa and from the Regional Fire Service in Katowice.
