FIREMAN’S DAY AT THE CENTRAL SCHOOL OF STATE FIRE SERVICE IN CZESTOCHOWA 08/05/2015

The Fireman's Day inauguration 8th of May 2015 started at 12.00 am, in Central School of  State Fire Serwis in Częstochowa on Sabinowska Street 62/64. 

The celebration started when commander  Jr Brig. Jacek Gawroński reported to Piotr Kwiatkowski – Deputy Chief. 

Then the guests were greeted by Central School of  State Fire Servis Chief Sr Brig. Marek Chmiel, who pointed out  that the tasks standing every day in front of State Fire Servis formation requires people absorbed in  duty, well-trained and prepared to work in rigours. Complicated and responsible tasks can perform only firefighters with an appropriate intellectual knowledge and physical efficiency.

The Fireman's Day celebration was attended by firefighters from Ukraine, who  train at the Central School in the field of medical emergency. During the solemn appeal our guests from Ukraine, received from the hands of Deputy Chief Sr Brig. Piotr Kwiatkowski and Chief of the Central School Sr Brig. Marek Chmiel certificates of medical course completion.

Beautiful Polish tradition of firefighting, which is undoubtedly Fireman’s Day watched the OPCW representatives who  participated in training on sampling and analysis of substances in a contaminated environment.

Participants in the training represented the following countries: Antiga and Barbuda, Argentina, Barbados, Brazil, Bahamas, Jamaica, Kenya, Macedonia, Portugal, Santa Lucia, Sudan, Turkey, Uganda, and  St. Kitts and Nevis

At the end of the ceremony Sr Brig. Piotr Kwiatkowski gave best wishes to all firefighters. He highlighted the role of the Central School in the firefighting education system and the high quality of the training.

Deputy Mayor of Częstochowa-  Ryszard Stefaniak gave also greetings and thanks to School staff. He thanked for their cooperation, highlighted the participation of the school's Honour Company in state ceremonies in the city of Czestochowa which as noted has always increases the prestige and importance of the celebration.

The most sublime moment of the ceremony were the promotions to higher grades.
