XXXII INTERNATIONAL POLISH CHAMPIONSHIP IN FIREFIGHTING SPORT

XXXII International Polish Championship in sports Firefighting passed into history.

    Even after the thirty second time we had the pleasure to watch Polish Championships in sports Firefighting, which accounted for a summary of year-round sports training effort firemen, conducted in all units of the State Fire Service.

    Polish Championship in Sport firefighting since 1996 continuously held at the sports facilities of the Central School State Fire Service in Częstochowa.

The organizers of the competition were:

- Headquarters of the State Fire Service,

- The Central School State Fire Service,

- Office of Częstochowa.

   Was opened by Deputy Commander in Chief of the PSP nadbryg. Piotr Kwiatkowski, together with the Commander of the Central School of Fire Service in Częstochowa st. Brig. Mark Chmiel.

   In the Championship participated competitors from Polish and foreign.

In total, the XXXII International Polish Championship was attended by:

• 3 representations abroad:

- Lithuania,

- Latvia,

- Moldova,

• 16 teams provinces

• 4 schools Fire:

- Main School of Fire Service,

- School of Fire Service in Krakow,

- School of Fire Service in Poznań,

- The Central School of Fire Service in Częstochowa.

   Sport is a demonstration of the efficiency of fire fireman. The element of training and preparation to perform professional tasks, often the most difficult, that require heavy physical exertion, speed, reflexes, control and operation of the team. That's all we could see for two days as part of an effort sporting rivalry and firefighters.

   Polish Championship in Sport firefighting have always been not only the most important test of physical fitness of firefighters competing, but also show the specifics of the service.

   Watching struggles in these competitions firefighters could see the task difficult, daily service and the physical lifeguard.

   It should be stressed very interesting running of the event fraught with fierce competition, but played out according to the rules and spirit of Fair Play.

   Top three teams from abroad contributed to an increase in high-level championship.

During the championship rivalry between players took place in four competitions:

1. Fire obstacle course - competition involving running for 100 m. And at the same time you do the following:

- To defeat the walls,

- Developing and unifying 2 lengths of hose W52,

- Defeating the balance beam,

- Connecting one end of the hose line to the base of the distributor and the other to the nozzle.

2. Climbing with the hook ladder - it's one of the most spectacular competition. The player holding the ladder hook, coming to wspinalni and haltingly ladder on the window sill on each floor, climbing up to the third floor.

3. Relay 4x100 m steeplechase - the competition starts 4 players.

Each of them runs 100 meters, beating obstacle. And the player defeats the house running across the roof, the second player beats the wall, III runs through equivalently, combines two snakes in the snake-like line and connects it to the distributor, the fourth player using a powder extinguisher extinguish a burning liquid. Features fully nozzle sticks.

4. Exercise Combat - (the most prestigious competition). The task carries 7 firefighters, aimed available:

- Motopomp,

- Two episodes suction hose W 110,

- Suction device,

- 3 episodes hose 75,

- 4 sections of hose 52,

- Divider,

- 2 nozzles.

Players were given the task to build a line of suction motor pumps installed adjacent to the reservoir, the main line and 2 line media. After the occupation of posts by prądowników - fill a 10 liter tank with water fed through the holes in the discs steeps.

On the second day of competition was played racing final in the competition climbing using a ladder hook for the Cup of the Minister of Interior and running for the cup gen. Brig. Wieslaw Leśniakiewicz - Commander in Chief of the PSP in the competition fire obstacle course.

The national overall standings, won representation Pomerania Region, while the individual classification winner is Mr. Bartlomiej Siepietowski from the province of Malopolska. In the international classification he won the Polish national team and the best player in the individual classification was Bartholomew Siepietowski.

   It is worth emphasizing the establishment of a new Polish record in the firefighting exercise combat by representatives of the Podkarpackie Province with the time 25.69 seconds.

   The jury was composed of officers of the State Fire Service under the guidance of an asp. headquarters. Mark oilman.

   Closing ceremony and awards made:

• General. Brigadier Wieslaw Leśniakiewicz - Commander in Chief of the PSP

• st. Brig. Marek Chmiel - Commander of the CS PSP

   The competition honored with their presence the local authorities. Also present were the provincial commanders PSP, PSP schools commandants, commanders District and municipal PSP, representatives of the uniformed services, the clergy, representatives of the Club of Generals PSP and Częstochowa University.

   The whole ceremony was graced Children and start - Youth Brass Band operating at the Municipal Cultural Centre in Lipiu of Kapellmeister at the head of Luke curl.

   Solemn closing ceremony was graced with the presence of the Police Representative Orchestra from Katowice.

   During the event, he was presented an exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the Oil Refinery fire in Czechowice, which took place on 26 June 1971. The exhibition consists of dozens of boards containing scans of archival photographs and other family memorabilia, as well as memories of the participants of extinguishing the fire and the documents relating to the funerals of the fallen . The author of the exhibition is Mr. Michael Kobiela from Kaniow, who is also the author of the album Fri. "To those who have passed away ..." dedicated to the people who witnessed this tragic fire that killed 37 people and 105 were injured.
