END OF TRAINING rescuers from ARMENIA 03.07.2015

Between 06/28/2015 - 07/03/2015 in the Central School of the State Fire Service in Częstochowa conducted another training rescuers from Armenia scheduled for the current year implemented under the project "Capacity Building exploration groups - emergency in Armenia" funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    The aim of the project is to build a professional group of exploration - Rescue Armenia and prepare it for exercise certification in accordance with INSARAG standards. This certification confirms the UN by a group of its high level of preparedness and response. Polish Party, which represents the Headquarters of the PSP was officially invited by the partner from Armenia - the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations to act as "mentors" Armenian group.

During their stay at the CS PSP accordance with the objectives of the project were conducted classes divided into 3 actions:

   - Action 1 - "Exercise Rim of the elements of reconnaissance and coordination USAR groups."

   - Measure 2 - "The organization of the medical component within the USAR Armenia - practical exercises."

   - Action 3 - "Rules of certifying organizations INSARAG exercise - Constructions simulators, logistical issues, the work of local staff (LEMA). Practical exercises."

   Classes were conducted in Russian and English as the official force in the international environment exploration groups - rescue.

   Lecturers and trainers during the exercise were:

- Members of the USAR Poland acting as the commanders and deputy commanders of the group USAR Poland,

- Doctors group USAR Poland,

   Everyone in / on hold a vast experience both nationally and internationally arising from participation in a number of foreign missions starting in 1999 and ending with the mission in Nepal this year.

   In the group of people involved with the Armenian side, chaired by Artavazd Davtyan- Deputy Director of the Ministry. Emergency Situations of Armenia, (who is also the commander of the group envisaged for certification), there were 15 people.

   On July 2, the ceremonial end of the training in the school auditorium, which was preceded by a lecture by the Deputy Director of the National Rescue Coordination Centre and Civil Protection Brig. Mariusz Feltynowskiego.

   The theme of the lecture in which, apart from the Armenian side also attended the staff and students of the school was to present issues related to:

   - The organization of exploration groups - rescue

   - Regulatory,

   - The method and procedures for alerting and dispose of the international efforts,

   - Hard course of the Polish mission of the Search and Rescue after the earthquake in Nepal this year.

   After a very interesting lecture trainees in the presence of gathered people received at the hands of Commander of the School of st. Brig. dr. Mark Chmiel and the Deputy Director KCKRiOL Brig. Mariusz Feltynowskiego Certificates.

   As part of / in the project it is also planned retrofitting of Armenian search and rescue group with the necessary logistical and communications equipment, whose deficiencies have shown exercise held in 2014 in Armenia.

   Certification as the last stage of building professional groups likely to participate in relief efforts around the world under the aegis of the United Nations is scheduled for late August and early September in Armenia.
